Workshops and Class Information

Learn how to make a resin seascape. We will have different scenes for you to choose from or you can make up your own design.
Each 8x10 frame comes with a large clear acrylic easel for you to display your finished design.

Please be aware that we will be working with resin which does not come out of clothes so dress accordingly. We will be giving out aprons too. Your class will provide everything you need to make a gorgeous 8x10 seascape. *Resin, gloves, gemstones, seashells, colored pigments, sand and glitter, apron, etc. This is a hands on workshop. You will be mixing your own resin and making your own creation with the guidance of Lisa Sweet. She will walk you through each step. For those of you that have ever seen resin art or always wanted to try using it, this is the class for you!
*** If you have any special shells of your own and you want to use them in your creation, you’re welcome to bring them with you.
Feel free to bring your own adult beverages if you are 21 yrs or older.
This workshop will run roughly 2 hours

Back by popular demand…this is our 3rd class in the past month!! You won’t want to miss this last Tray class as we will be adding other new and exciting workshops to the list.
This class will be held at: The Soulful Palette Gift Store and Studio -
88 East Grove Street in Middleboro, MA. Saturday, May 10th from 12-2pm.
Detailed instructions are sent out to you once you register for the class.
All your resin, gloves, apron, heat gun, colored pigments, etc will all be provided in this workshop. Lisa will go over in depth the step by step procedure to make sure you are all in full understanding of how we will be doing ocean waves. We cover everything from start to finish and will always check to see how each of you are doing throughout the process, Once your Trinket Tray is made, you will have anytime within the following week to pick up your creations. The resin we use is a professional grade approved for food contact and has UV inhibitors in it and has a long working time of up to 1.5 hours so you won't feel rushed at all.
These make great gifts for that special someone too! Space is limited for a more one on one experience.

This workshop will be on a Friday night-July 25th from 6:30-8:30pm You will each have your own WHITE lantern to add colored glass to. We will do step by step instructions using light curing resin. Everyone will get their own bottle of light curing resin to use and make their creation on their lantern. We will have 2 curing stations for you to set your creation on each panel of your lantern as you go along filling it in with your colored crushed glass.
YOU WILL HAVE 2 DIFFERENT OPTIONS ON THE DESIGN-See Images.
Option 1: Make it an Ocean Design using the colored stones shown in the display flyer.: Dark Blue, Turquoise, Iridescent stones and/or crushed shells will be added to all 4 sides of the lantern.
Option 2: is mixing colored stones together and adding them to all 4 sides of your Lantern. (If choosing the mixed colored stones design instead of the ocean design, please choose 2-3 colors for your lantern. Write your colors in the comments section box when you’re on the checkout page.) Everything you will need for this workshop will be provided to you. All the colored crushed glass, crushed shells, uv resin, curing lamps, gloves, aprons, silicone sticks to move your stones around, the white decorative lantern , and so much more. These lanterns can be taken home the same day after you finish. We have a video tutorial so you can see the exact Lantern we are using (WHITE) and 1 of the styles you can design.
Each person will have their own set up of all the stones and accessories needed to make these Lanterns.
These Lanterns have a built in Battery Operated Candle inside. The Candle can be removed if desired to use a glass jar candle but we don’t recommend it due to the heat exposure the resin will be subject to.

Charcuterie Board Classes are done in our home studio in Lakeville only.
Please use the “contact us” tab on this site to leave us a detailed message and some available dates you are looking to do a class with friends. Once we receive that message we will then get in contact with you to establish a date and time. There is a minimum of 3 people in total to do a private class.
These are a more intimate setting of no more than 5-6 people in a class.
There are a lot of steps making these boards so you are guaranteed to have a more one on one experience as Lisa will guide you every step of the way.

Arrival for workshop is 15-20 mins prior to start time so you can get your seats and pick out colors before we start. All your resin, gloves, apron, heat gun, colored pigments, etc will all be provided in this workshop. Lisa will go over in depth the step by step procedure to make sure you are all in full understanding of what you'd like to do for a design or if you will be doing ocean waves. We cover on both styles and will always check to see how each of you are doing throughout the process, Once your board is made, you will have to wait until they cure overnight before you can pick up the next day. We are not responsible for any forgotten pick ups unless you've contacted us prior to the pick up date and have made other arrangements. The resin we use is a professional grade approved for food contact which means once your design is done you can choose to cover that section with food or leave that area for show and add your food to the natural wood area. It' really is up to you on how you display your gorgeous board. These make great gifts for that special someone too! Space is limited for a more one on one experience. Also, if you have any small shells or items you want to add to your board feel free to bring them with you.
